1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Block Space. By creating an account, posting content, contacting a member, or otherwise using Block Space, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who may use Block Space
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
3. Marketplace role
Block Space is a local listings and communication platform. Members decide whether to contact, hire, work with, or pay one another. Block Space is not an employer, staffing agency, contractor, broker, insurer, or party to agreements between members.
Block Space does not hold, escrow, release, process, or guarantee payment for member-to-member work. Any payment status shown in the dashboard is a member-provided record that payment occurred outside Block Space. Members are responsible for agreeing on scope, price, taxes, permits, insurance, refunds, and payment method.
4. Listings and member content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Block Space a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it is accurate and lawful.
Do not post deceptive listings, impersonate others, expose private information, infringe intellectual property, or offer prohibited or illegal goods or services. Listings may expire, be paused, or be removed. Paid advertising or add-ons do not guarantee impressions, contacts, hires, or results.
5. Messages, work records, and reviews
Use messages professionally and only for legitimate marketplace activity. Reviews must relate to a completed Block Space work order and reflect an honest experience. Do not manipulate ratings, exchange incentives for a particular rating, retaliate, or post content that is abusive, irrelevant, or knowingly false.
6. Safety and due diligence
Verify identities, qualifications, licenses, insurance, references, scope, and payment terms before work begins. Use caution when meeting, sharing information, or sending money. Do not send advance payment merely because someone pressures you. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services; Block Space reports are not an emergency channel.
7. Moderation and account action
We may investigate reports and remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or secure the service. We may act without advance notice in urgent or serious cases. We are not required to monitor every interaction and cannot guarantee that every user or listing is trustworthy.
8. Prohibited technical conduct
Do not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, scrape or harvest personal information, introduce malware, send spam, probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization, automate abusive activity, or use another person's account.
9. Service availability and disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, the accuracy of member content, or the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any work.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Block Space and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from member interactions, off-platform payments, or reliance on content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Account closure
You may export or delete your account from Dashboard Settings. Deletion is permanent and may remove listings, messages, work records, and reviews associated with the account, subject to limited retention required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions may be sent to blockspaceadmin@gmail.com.
